The 1VD-FTV 4.5L V8 turbo-diesel is prone to intercooler heat soak whenever airflow drops — in low-range, in slow convoys, in sand, or while towing. As intake temperatures climb, the engine pulls timing and power, and works harder to do the same job. That's lost performance exactly when you're asking the most of your Cruiser.

The CDI Motorsport Intercooler Fan Kit mounts two high-flow fans on a CAD-designed, laser-cut frame that forces air through the intercooler at low and high speed. The result: faster recovery after heat soak, lower intake air temperatures, and more consistent performance under load.

Powder-coated, light but strong, with a bonnet-sealing shroud and high-density foam to insulate the intercooler.
Space-saving mount
Compact fuse & relay holder frees room under the intercooler for dual batteries or a secondary fuel filter.

Does it fit DPF (facelift) models?
Yes — compatible with both pre-DPF and facelift DPF 1VD-FTV models.

Is it hard to fit?
