K11 Nissan Micra Turbo

Street circuit race Nissan Micra K11 Turbo kit.

Turbo oil feed pulled from 1/8 npt port on the exhaust side of the head.

Steam pipe turbo manifold.

Ford XR6 turbo intercooler (modified)

2" Aluminium intercooler piping.

2.5" V Band

SR20 injectors and modified fuel rail.

Boost T.

Turbo header flange was purchased off E-Bay, it's only 8mm thick from memory. Care has to be taken when welding the manifold, being that it's a log style and distortion (bowing from weld shrinkage) can happen very easily. You can see in some of the photos when it's installed that on the outside the steam pipes haven't been fully welded to the header plate. This also stops distortion of the header flange it's self. The inside of each port has been fully welded and lightly ported.

Mild Steel 2.5" dump pipe (inc flex joint) to the fire wall then in to 2" via a 2.5" V Band & reducer till back of the car.

SR20 injectors and modified SR20 fuel rail.

Little bit of prep & thought into how it's done but quite achievable for the keen DIY car builder. NOTE: Working with fuel system parts, Highly recommend checking for any leaks post work pre start, Never assume it won't leak!!!
